RECAP: WAIC Gathering
Quick recap: New leaders! Connection and storytelling.
9 people showed up to partake in snacks, learn more about each other, and talk about what actions are best to meet this moment. We landed on moving forward with a story capture activity - through video, audio, or writing - of what it means to feel like to belong in Wilsonville. If you are interested in joining in on this project, please reach out. It would be great to have someone with interviewing, video or audio capture, or editing skills step up.
Also, we elected new leaders! In an unanimous vote, the following people were selected:
WAIC Co-Chair, 2 year term: Heather Ingersoll
WAIC Co-Chair, 1 year term: Garet Prior
Treasurer, 2 year term: Jason Smith
Process Inclusion, 2 year term: Sarah Thom

We ended the meeting with a poem and 1-1 conversations in reflection. Thank you to Sarah and Heather for facilitating our opening and closing activities!
