WAIC Up! Weekly Update 10/28

October 28, 2022 Wilsonville Alliance for Inclusive Community
frog pond overview map

What makes a neighborhood diverse, inclusive, and equitable?

The entire Frog Pond development, including East and South, is a tremendous opportunity for Wilsonville. New housing meets a critical need but doesn’t have to be at the expense of diversity, equity, and inclusion. As we strive to build inclusive communities, Frog Pond can – and should – be an important step.

The neighborhood is at the land use planning stage of the process. Key upcoming meetings include:

  • November 7, 2022 5 p.m. City Council Work Session (attend in person, via Zoom, or watch on City's YouTube Channel).

  • November 16, 2022 6 p.m. Planning Commission Public Hearing (attend in person, via Zoom, or watch on City's YouTube Channel)

More information on the Frog Pond East and South planning process and how you can get involved is on the project webpage. Take a few minutes and be sure to let your voice be heard!
